# For hosts

You are a host when you set up a project, invite people to speak, and work with what they
said. New here? Start with [getting started](./getting-started.md). It takes you from
sign-up to your first transcript.

You do not need to be technical. If you can run a meeting, you can host a dembrane project.
And remember what the tools are for: summaries, answers and reports point you to what is
worth reading. The judgement stays with you and the people in the room.

## Set up and collect

- [Getting started](./getting-started.md): account, organisation, first project, first recording.
- [Creating a project](./creating-a-project.md): the four steps, and where to rename, clone, move or delete.
- [Setting up the portal](./portal-editor.md): what participants see and are asked.
- [Collecting conversations](./collecting-conversations.md): the QR code and link, the checklist for participants, the Monitor, uploading audio.
- [Using dembrane Go on mobile](./using-dembrane-go-mobile.md): the iOS app cannot sign in. Use the portal in a phone browser.

## Read and fix

- [Transcripts & conversations](./transcripts-and-conversations.md): statuses, search, editing, tags, moving, deleting, downloading.
- [Troubleshooting transcripts & summaries](./troubleshooting-transcripts-and-summaries.md): wrong or missing text.

## Make sense and share

- [Chat and Ask](./chat-and-ask.md): ask questions about a set of conversations.
- [Reports](./reports.md): an article written from the project's conversations, to publish and share.
- [Present and map](./present-and-map.md): a screen for the room, and a map of the arguments people made.

## Run your workspace

- [Managing your workspace](./managing-your-workspace.md): members, invites and workspace settings.
- [Account and settings](./account-and-settings.md): your sign-in, security and preferences.
- [Tiers, billing and usage](./tiers-billing-and-usage.md): what each plan includes, and the limits of the free plan.
- [Getting help](./getting-help.md): how to reach the dembrane team.
