# Using dembrane Go on mobile

dembrane Go, the iOS app, cannot sign in to the current version of dembrane. You cannot use
it to record into your projects.

## What to do instead

Record through the portal in the phone's browser. It needs no app and no account.

1. Open your project's "Overview" and find the "Take part" card.
2. Show the QR code, or send the link with "Copy link".
3. People open it in their phone's browser, such as Safari or Chrome, and press "Record".

To record a conversation yourself, press "Open link" and record like any participant.

Recording in a browser needs the screen to stay on. Go through the short checklist in
[collecting conversations](./collecting-conversations.md) with your participants first.
