Notifications

On this page

dembrane tells you things in two places: the “Inbox” in the sidebar, and email for the things that should not wait. Each email is sent when its event happens. There is no daily or weekly digest, and there is no setting to turn notifications or emails off.

The inbox

“Inbox” in the sidebar shows a count of what you have not read. It opens a panel with two tabs:

Click a notification to open the place it is about. That also marks it read. “All read” marks the whole tab read. The inbox refreshes about once a minute.

An invite leaves your inbox when it expires. It is marked read when you accept or decline it, or when the sender revokes it.

Announcements from dembrane

dembrane staff publish announcements. Each one is visible to every user at once and disappears at its end time. You read them under “Inbox”, “Updates”, and you can mark each one read or unread.

Release notes

The “Help” section of the sidebar has “Give feedback”, “What’s new” and “Documentation”.
