Trainings and licences
On this page
“Training” in the staff console lists the trainings of every organisation. You give a training a date, mark who attended, and each attendee gets a licence for one year.
Read the list#
The screen is titled “Trainings”. Find an organisation with “Search by organisation”, or filter with “All”, “Requested”, “Scheduled” or “Completed”.
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| “Organisation” | Whose training it is. |
| “Requester” | Who asked for it. “Staff-created” when dembrane added it. |
| “Requested” | The date it was asked for. |
| “Type” | The kind of training, such as online or in person. |
| “Participants” | The included number, plus any extra participants. |
| “Estimated cost” | The cost worked out from the type and the extra participants. |
| “Notes” | Notes on the request. |
| “Status” | Requested, scheduled, completed or cancelled. |
| “Scheduled” | The date, or “Not scheduled”. |
| “Licenses” | How many licences this training has granted. |
A completed training reads “partially completed” when only some of the organisation’s members hold a licence from it.
Every action is in the three-dot menu at the end of a row.
Schedule a training#
- Open the row’s menu and select “Schedule”. For a training that has a date it reads “Reschedule”.
- Pick the “Training date”.
- Select “Save”.
Mark it completed and grant licences#
- Open the row’s menu and select “Mark completed”.
- Under “Mark as attended”, tick the people who attended. The list holds the members of the organisation.
- Check “Completed on”. It starts on today’s date.
- Select “Grant licenses”.
What happens:
- Each person you ticked gets a licence. It expires 365 days after the “Completed on” date. You cannot set the expiry by hand.
- Each of them gets the notice “Your training is complete”: “You now hold a one-year license to use dembrane in high-risk settings.”
- A person counts as trained while they hold a licence that has not expired.
To add someone later, open the menu again. On a completed training the item reads “Manage attendees”. People who already hold a licence are not offered a second time.
Revoke a licence#
- Open the row’s menu and select “Manage attendees”.
- Under “Licenses granted”, select “Revoke” next to the person.
- Confirm with “Revoke license”.
The person no longer counts as trained. Use this only when a licence was granted by mistake. If you revoke the last licence of a completed training, the training goes back to scheduled or requested.
Cancel or reopen#
“Cancel training” marks the training cancelled. Confirm with “Cancel training”, or back out with “Keep it”. A cancelled training gets “Reopen” in the same menu.
