For hosts
On this page
You are a host when you set up a project, invite people to speak, and work with what they said. New here? Start with getting started. It takes you from sign-up to your first transcript.
You do not need to be technical. If you can run a meeting, you can host a dembrane project. And remember what the tools are for: summaries, answers and reports point you to what is worth reading. The judgement stays with you and the people in the room.
Set up and collect#
- Getting started: account, organisation, first project, first recording.
- Creating a project: the four steps, and where to rename, clone, move or delete.
- Setting up the portal: what participants see and are asked.
- Collecting conversations: the QR code and link, the checklist for participants, the Monitor, uploading audio.
- Using dembrane Go on mobile: the iOS app cannot sign in. Use the portal in a phone browser.
Read and fix#
- Transcripts & conversations: statuses, search, editing, tags, moving, deleting, downloading.
- Troubleshooting transcripts & summaries: wrong or missing text.
Make sense and share#
- Chat and Ask: ask questions about a set of conversations.
- Reports: an article written from the project’s conversations, to publish and share.
- Present and map: a screen for the room, and a map of the arguments people made.
Run your workspace#
- Managing your workspace: members, invites and workspace settings.
- Account and settings: your sign-in, security and preferences.
- Tiers, billing and usage: what each plan includes, and the limits of the free plan.
- Getting help: how to reach the dembrane team.
